I did this video on Day 8 of my 10 Day Paleo Diet challenge. My energy levels were so high and it made such a huge difference in how I felt that I decided to issue this open challenge to parents.

So, originally, my goal was to see how much weight I could lose inside of the 10 day challenge. However, a couple of days later , after getting pumped up and doing extra research, I quickly realized that my ultimate goal, especially at my age, should have been – and now is – my health.

That’s why I chose the Paleo Diet

I looked into other Diet and Weight Loss challenges and was immediately turned away by what they required. Mainly NO CARBS. Not only is that unreasonable, in my eyes (and I’m not an expert), that’s also unwise, unhealthy and unsustainable.

Eating healthy as a lifestyle choice is not easy for me. It has to be done and I want to do it but again, choosing good foods, all of the time, is very difficult and not something I look forward to. And so, as a matter of preference, I wanted to make sure the diet I chose was achievable, sustainable and healthy.

To me, the Paleo Diet is exactly that. Yes, it is a High-Protein, Low-Carb diet but it is not a NO-Carb diet. Stay away from processed meats, sugars and man-made carbs like breads and pastas.

That sucks a little but ok, I can do it. What else?

Do the 10 Day Paleo Diet Open Challenge

I am a firm believer in the saying that “Actions speak louder than Words.” Instead of explaining why you should choose the Paleo Diet, I would rather challenge you to give it a try.

10 days. That’s all I’m asking. I’m won’t guarantee that you’ll lose X amount of weight but I also have nothing to sell. What I will promise is that if you stick with the Paleo Diet for just 10 days, you’ll simply feel better and have a lot more energy than you have in the past. And yes, you will definitely lose weight too.

After the 10 days, you can then decide whether the Paleo Diet is right enough for you to continue. That’s it. No sales pitch. All I’m trying to do is help parents be the best dads and moms possible. The better you feel, the more you can do for your kids. So what do you say?
